Day 26, the last day of our holiday. Our Emirates flight home to Malaysia is 9:35 p.m. arriving Kuala Lumpur 8:55 a.m. the next day. We spent this day in our hotel room until check out at 12:00 p.m. We’ve never felt this tired as we’ve never been on the move for more than 14 days before. Left our luggage at the hotel and took the metro to the Mall of the Emirates as we’ve not been there on our previous trip.
The Mall of the Emirates is accessible via covered walkalators from the metro station. (I’ve been made to understand walkalators are also now available at Dubai Mall. Previously, you’ll need to take a bus from the metro station as it is quiet a distance.) Here you’ll find branded stores, restaurants, food court, entertainment and Ski Dubai … that winter resort in a mall, in the desert. We just window shop to pass time and had a late lunch. Thereafter we performed our prayers in the mall’s spacious mosque located on the top floor.
