April 2015
From Trocadero, it’s a short and pleasant walk across river Seine to Eiffel Tower. Tickets for going up the Eiffel Tower has been booked earlier form here. We were unfortunate not to get tickets to the top floor, but managed to get tickets to the 2nd floor.
The queue line was long but for pre-purchased ticket holders, you are ushered to a different queue line. You still queue for the lift but given priority over the day ticket holders. The ride to the 2nd floor was just a couple of minutes. The 360° views of Paris up the tower is stunning. A definite photo spot of photographers.
The many faces of Eiffel Tower.

Once up to the 2nd floor, the whole of Paris is in view. Depending on the direction of the lighting, you’ll just snap away at the view of Paris skyline. On your way up or down you can choose to stop at the 1st floor.
