Returning from Zaanse Schans we went straight to Bloemenmarkt or in english it means flower market. This flower market is the only floating flower market in the world. The flower stalls stand on the houseboats. This area consists of an alley with 15 florist.
From Amsterdam Central Station you can take tram nos. 1,2 or 5 and get off at Koningsplein stop which is just a few meters away. The stalls here mainly sells flowers and all things flowers. Be it cut flowers, dried flowers, bulbs, flower related souvenirs right up to Cannabis starter kit if you are interested.
